Alongside acupuncture, maintaining proper ergonomics, especially while sitting at a desk, is crucial in preventing and managing neck pain. 

Here are some ergonomic improvements you can do right now:

  • Adjust Your Monitor: Ensure your computer monitor is at eye level and about arm’s length away to avoid straining your neck.
  • Sit Back: Use a chair with good lower back support. Sit back in your chair with your feet flat on the ground or on a footrest.
  • Take Regular Breaks: Every 30 minutes, take a short break to stretch and move around to prevent muscle stiffness. Do shoulder rolls and swing your arms.
  • Proper Keyboard and Mouse Placement: Keep your keyboard and mouse close enough to use them comfortably with your wrists and forearms straight and level.
